• Zhu is an American violinist and an international touring artist receiving worldwide praise for his technical mastery and artistic style. 

• He  became the youngest winner of the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists in 2012 and later he won the 55th International Paganini Competition in Genoa, Italy.

• Zhu serves as a Culture Ambassador of the Lin Yao Ji Music Foundation of China and has been featured on ABC Eyewitness News, BBC Radio 3, and was the recipient of a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant and Salon de Virtuosi Career Grant.

• Zhu received his bachelor's degree from The Juilliard School, performs professionally and enjoys teaching others of all ages.

Come learn from this incredible violinist! The experience is geared to youth in grades 4-12 who are engaged in Ames Community Schools Orchestra programming and interested community members.
